When does the tour start?
Our tour starts at 2pm every day from outside Tower Hill tube station, in Trinity Square - beside the ‘Tower Hill Tram’ burger van! EC3N 1JL is the postcode, and the meeting point is easily accessible via both the District and Circle lines, the DLR, and various bus routes.
Where does the tour go?
Our tour explores various historical locations along London's famous River Thames. Starting at Tower Hill, we pass the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the HMS Belfast and London Bridge, before heading on past the Shard into the ancient Borough Market. From there we visit Southwark Cathedral, The Golden Hinde, and the ruins of Winchester Palace before passing the notorious medieval Clink Prison. From there we make our way on to Shakespeare’s Globe, past the 17th-century Anchor pub, before crossing the Millennium Bridge to head for Ludgate Hill and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Along the way, there are countless other sights and landmarks to see, too!
Is the tour wheelchair-friendly?
Absolutely! We can take a step-free route around the tour if requested.
Where does the tour end?
The tour takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, and finishes by the historic St. Paul's Cathedral (and St Paul's Tube station, on the Central Line). Various bus services are also nearby.
What should I wear?
